Bighari is a Filipino goddess associated with the rainbow, often described as a guardian of beauty, color, and the natural world. Her presence represents the vibrant connection between nature, spirituality, and the Filipino imagination.
This piece was inspired by the work and vision of Nikki Abeleda, whose creativity encouraged me to explore Bighari through my own artistic lens.
Through this painting, I celebrate Filipino mythology and the beauty of reconnecting with stories and deities rooted in our heritage.
